When you tap in at a business using TapHalo, we store your phone number (and your name, if you choose to give it) to run your loyalty card — tracking your stamp count and texting you your progress after each confirmed visit. Your information is only ever visible to the specific business you tapped in at, never shared with any other business on TapHalo, and never sold to anyone. You can stop the texts anytime by replying STOP, or ask the business to remove your card entirely by contacting them directly — they can delete it on request.
